Wine and Cheese EVENT

Absolutely a wonderful night at POMC, great weather, great food and excellent turnout of members! The "EVENTS" chair ladies, Val and Vickie, as always turned up a notch and outdid themselves tonight! GREAT JOB LADIES!!!!!!

The new construction of pavers on our veterans memorial was a donation from MATT and Megan Millner from Cleveland , Ohio. A dedication ceremony will be planned for the fall.

The "CAUTION" signs were repainted and donated by Tina and Bill Keeley, from Jamestown. And the 50/50 raffle proceeds was donated BACK to the club from Dewey and Julie Kardell from Pittsburgh. (2 months in a row)

HIGHLIGHTED RULES

Failure to folow the club rules may put your membership in jeopardy.

6. State law: All boats docked at club must display a valid mooring permit, as well as proper state registration.

7. State law: No fishing is permitted on the docks from April 1st thru October 31st . Members are permitted to fish from their docked boats, but only on their own slip.

9. No equipment is to be left on dock walkways; rope, fishing equipment, etc,

POMC Charity Event

This year the POMC charity is the Jamestown Food Pantry.
We have made a difference with our generosity and support this last year. The need is increasing with social program cuts taking hold. Here are some suggested items for donations:

Toilet paper, Paper towels, Toothpaste,
Bar soap (dial,zest), Plastic wrap ,Aluminum foil, Kleenex, Boxed macaroni and cheese.
Spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, Juice
Canned applesauce, Canned tuna in water and
Canned chicken.

The pantry can buy frozen ground beef, fish and chicken at a reduced price when it’s available. Produce, dairy (cheese, butter, yogurt, eggs) are purchased locally. These are only purchased when money is available.
If you are able and would prefer checks can be made out to Jamestown Food Pantry.
Please drop off items at the club or better yet bring with you July 11th. Checks can also be placed in the mail slot in the clubhouse ahead of time.

We can and do make a real difference in this community!!!
